New Product Testing December 2011
The company has continued its testing and approvals throughout this year after improving the action of performance in EnviroCair. In the last three months we have extended our accreditations with new testing in the UK and Germany. The main focus has been on proving EnviroCair kills faster and kills more pathogens than competitor products.
Why? Well, we decided to look at the ‘real world’, which is fast moving and where time is money. Who would wait 60 minutes for a surface to become “germ-free”? Recontamination is occurring regularly. The spread of HAI (Hospital Acquired Infections) is a major topic right now, especially on Clostridium difficile (C.diff) and Norovirus.

So we have decided to get our testing completed at 20 seconds to 3 minutes max! This sets new innovation standards of disinfecting surfaces, keeping EnviroCair ahead of all-comers.Typically we are now testing at 1 minute or less and have new glowing test reports proving EnviroCair kills pathogens such as MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, E.hirae, VRE, ESBL etc in 20 seconds to at least 99.9999% (log6). This is remarkable performance from a totally food safe level of dilution.
The latest bacterial, virucidal and fungicidal / yeast testing has been carried out at various levels of dilution and at a variety of speeds. Our 20 seconds results are incredible and almost 100% peak performance is achieved at this point and the product does not need the typical 30 – 60 minutes to peak as with other products on the market. Dilutions of the product to 400-1 have shown the same results and we have a new log7 (99.99999%) on bacteria and fungicidal test at 3 minutes at this dilution.
New test reports include EN1276, EN1040, EN1275, EN13697 (bacteria), EN13697 (fungicidal), EN1650, EN14476, EN14348, EN13727, EN1276 (Hand Gel), EN1500, EN1499

ENVIROCAIR KILLS CLOSTRIDIUM DIFFICILE (C.DIFF) SPORES IN 1 MINUTE
EnviroCair has been proven to kill Clostridium Difficile in less than 1 minute – a major breakthrough in infection control in healthcare.
The problems are that current products used to kill C.diff require the operator to wear protective clothing. The time taken to get ready is crucial in preventing the spread of the spores and added to this is the time that current disinfectants take to kill the spores to at least log4. EnviroCair is proven to kill in less than 1 minute and the operator does not need to wear protective clothing. The time savings are crucial.
At the strength required to kill C.diff to log4, the product is still safe, biodegradable, Halaal approved and no precautionary advise is given.
